Family Island — Farming game

Opened my game to a complete new look. Look is fine but losing interest in game. It takes sooo many more items to craft a single item. Clay and rock takes days and days and days to regenerate on your home island and you can no longer get clay from the other islands to help build your home island. The beaver does not give out many resources so it really isn’t THAT helpful to growing your island. It’s nice to have more fields and that things grow and craft faster but the inability to get simple things like clay and rocks has ruined the game. I loved it before but thinking of giving it up now because it’s not as fun to play since the update.

I have had this game for years. I have made purchases with this game. An update happened today. It deleted all the friends on the game and now I cannot access friends on Facebook for trading cards . The support center were not helpful and I felt brushed off. They had no helpful information and did not offer to check into the issue. I have never had to connect with support but expected them to at least look into the issue.

Not worth it

Downloaded this app after Highkeycoupons.com claimed it would reveal a code if I reached lvl 7. This is an absolute scam. This app is terrible for using such bad 3rd party tactics and that website is a scam.

Super addictive, but you’ve got to do something about these ads! I had a minute twenty left on this resources booster, tried to eat tomato soup so I had enough energy but there was a mandatory 30 second ad on it… and it crashed. Now I need a hundred extra energy for another crazy expensive resource just to get halfway through this event island. I have too much time on my hands. That doesn’t even read like English.

I have spent hours and thousands of energy playing and getting no resources (beaver food) to show for it. The beaver food counter isn’t working. Now I’m out of resources to upgrade my workshops/house. Very disappointing. And I can’t even contact Melsoft support as the in-game support feature is not working! So frustrating! RHCN7P

Update: Devs making things more interesting and if you can win the main events you can get other prizes. Still mostly P2W but at least one can be in the top 10 or top 3 or 5 more often to get prizes. I still think the devs could give the occasional perk to new players or ones like me who have continued to support the game. Really like optional ads that give rewards rather than constant ones for nothing. I think that is the main reason I still play. I improved the star rating above. Have been playing for about a year. First of all, customer support has been very helpful in answering questions which is good because their Q and A sucks. They add new things to the game but don’t explain anything about them in the FAQ. Now for the really negative aspect(S). You can never finish special quests even by building up top foods for energy, saving gems for energy and yes, paying real money. Well if you paid a ton maybe. I tried….once with a $50 gift card. Still didn’t win with everything in play to be successful. You can pay in small amounts but therein lies the danger because it adds up. Devs give lots of opportunity for energy but it is still a pay to complete, for the special events. Also there is no incentive to go up higher in levels because the game just gets harder. Items take hours to create and same with upgrading storage etc. The game should get easier with levels because you have more energy, tools, storage, etc. I think it is no different at lower levels. They just match your level with your island tasks and materials. I finished ONE quest in the beginning…just to hook me in. Since then, nada. And what I “won” just sits on the island and does nothing. Couldn’t believe it. All those hours I’ll never get back. Even being in a tribe doesn’t help. The game is getting more boring at each level jump. I play less and less every day. Devs should reward loyal players and those at certain level increments with a chance to finish an event without going “broke”. I used 2 gifted iTunes cards, actually. One at the beginning and one about a month ago…just in case. You know what they say? “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.” Well, shame on me. And there won’t be a third time. It is a waste and pointless. May eventually just come in once a day for the daily reward and stock up, then actually play every few months, hoping my stockpile will make a difference. everything takes too much energy

Game keeps crashing

I like this game and enjoy playing it however, it glitches frequently and keeps crashing. Today I can’t even get into the game. I am disappointed because today is the last day on an event that I was close to finishing.
