I love this game
Great game but purosefully inconvenient.
This game has a lot of great pros, no ads being high on that list, and it's a very calming experience that is great for killing time, and slowly improving your farm feels great. However, it does have one major con. That is the fact that the game is purposefully inconvenient in certain aspects. The game has a currency called gold used for buying perks or certain items. Gold is aquired through various means as you play the game, but is ultimately pretty hard to come by in large quantities. The issue? You can purchase gold for real money. The immediate issue is how this makes the game very pay-to-win, but considering you can get gold without paying and the game is free and non-competitive, I wouldn't say being pay-to-win is an issue at all. The issue I have is that some of the perks you can buy are purely quality of life. They are things that, even accirding to the games developers, would improve your experience playing the game after being unlocked. And they put them behind a pay wall. Sure you can grind the gold and get them free, but once again they are purely quality of life features, they don't increase your efficiency or let you earn more money. Why would I ever prioritize using my gold on that? It would feel wasteful. That issue pertains even if you buy gold for real money. In the end the quality of life perks are probably some of the last ones you'd get, meaning you will play through a large portion of the game while being inconvenienced for no reason. Maybe I'm being harsh but until this has changed I cannot give more than a 3/5. If it was changed or you don't care about it though I would consider the game a 5/5 easily.
