Fashmates - Your Style App

I am pretty amazed at how this is kinda like Polyvore but I just so happy I can put together clothes that I think are cute I love this app so much

It’s a great app!! A few little things could be improved, but the main thing is that you guys need to stop comparing yourself to Polyvore. You need to make a new name for yourself :))

It’s good enough, but not as good as our dearly departed polyvore :( When you used to look up things that were not technically clothes but words or runes or something, it came up on polyvore. Not so much anymore does that happen. I was trying to make a Shadowhunter outfit, but it mostly turned up blank:((((((

So disappointed! This app is confusing at times and my sets don’t load properly, I used to use polyvore nearly every single day and enter the comps but I don’t think I’ll be using this one as much 😔

This is a good equivalent to Polyvore (RIP), although for it to replace the popular app is a long shot, a lot needs to be improved. Interface is a bit confusing at times, finding your ‘sets’ can be a struggle, especially for those coming from Polyvore. Selection of clothes is smaller, and we have no filters for searches or to look at the catalogue of clothes (eg. colour, texture, price, etc) when adding items to a set. The lack of filters means that you have to search exactly what you are looking for (eg. ‘green shirt’) which results in little to no choices of clothes (I am aware that you can use filters when shopping, but why isn’t this feature included when making sets?). Your chances for creativity in making sets is limited, with what I call ‘background patterns’ not having their own category, leading to a struggle to create dynamic and original sets. Back to interface, it doesn’t have that sleek, modern ‘vibe’ that Polyvore did On a happier note, I am delighted to know that you can revive your Polyvore sets into Fashmates, with only a 1-3 day-long wait. In conclusion, so far Fashmates has to realise that most Polyvore users were on Polyvore to make sets and look at sets, not buy clothes (although this is a good addition). Neglecting this area of your app will not end well if you’re targeting Polyvore users. I look forward to seeing this app develop further and hopefully continue the legacy of Polyvore!

You guys should have an option to be able to refine the clothing items through colour price etc. Other than that the app is pretty good.

Have used app for years and enjoyed it. However I am no longer able to save drafts or publish outfits

I enjoyed this app, but for some reason, I am no longer able to publish my sets. I hit “Publish” and nothing happens. I have tried contacting them, but have received no response.

i love this app but unfortunately its not letting me upload my sets as of yesterday…
