App keeps kicking you out after a couple days. Not worth paid subscription with this problem.
I have been using this app for a year to track my fasts. When I woke up today to check my time for fasting (I was in the middle of a fast) everything had reset. I lost all my data and it made me start over. Not only that, it told me I am extremely obese at 5’6”, 134 pounds and also said that my target weight should be 54 pounds. I don’t know what the heck happened to this app overnight but it’s time to find something new. I am so annoyed to lose an entire years worth of fasting data.
I have tried a lot of fasting apps. Most of the feature rich apps collect and sell as much user data as possible. This doesn’t appear to be such an app (see below). This app very well designed and simply loaded with features, and it claims to collect no user data. This is commendable, and easily the most important aspect of the app in my opinion. I would not have even tried it otherwise, as I value my privacy and do not enjoy the principal or experience of being monetized. In fact, I have already sent it to several people that I coach, and suggested that they remove the ads and begin enjoying it. Every aspect of the app is well designed. This is rare in and of itself, but especially so in an app that has chosen not to monetize and turn every user into a cash cow. The fasting stages are exceedingly well done. I appreciate the fact that this app exists. I do have a few suggestions, though (not that anyone asked). A "Custom fasts" section under the "very hard" section. Tap to reorder fasting timer by time remaining, time elapsed, and percentage completed. Widget Dark mode When changing or setting the start time of a fast, the date is whited out and very difficult to see. *edit* After running some tests I saw connections being made by the app, and decided to investigate. Though the developer claims to collect no data, the app is built with no less than 4 software developer kits made by 3rd party interests, to wit: AdMob Google Play Services Google Analytics for Firebase Firebase Crashlytics So data is obviously being harvested, fwiw.
I don't like how the date shows weird on the Timeline View for Fasts. Example: 12/6/22 shows in the app as 6/12/22. Why are the month & date backwards? PLEASE FIX THAT! Overall I like that it tracks Fasts, Weight Loss & Water Intake. But he water intake is kind of Glitchy & does not always start over at 0 oz each day. I purchased the lifetime app. It was a good price compared to some of the other fasting apps.
This app really helps me stay motivated and allows me to keep track of EVERYTHING I’m really looking at during my fasting phase.
Me encanta y lo fácil que es
I just downloaded yesterday, so far so good, helping me keep track of how much water I drink per day and more stuff
