The spastic app is a great fasting app. It has a fun and easy approach to fasting for weight loss. There is a daily score that motivates me to keep tracking in the various categories and encourage you to keep going. I would definitely recommend this app.
Just wanted it for the picture part just to do the calorie part myself. But MY GOD sooo many questions to start it just NO. Way better options out there.
This app is the first of its kind that I have ever tried. I was interested in the picture taking for calories. Which is good to excellent. Especially if you scan each item individually. The information got me seriously back into my fasting pgm, and never in my life have I drank 120 oz of water a day. It does not reconize plant based products unless you scan the barcode which is not difficult. You can create your own library of foods so gets easyier as time tools on. It is a great application and I would recommend it to anyone, is it a must have not really but a person is likely to quickly quit counting calories and that’s THE ONLY WAY TO LOSE FAT IS BY CALORIE DEFICIT. It helps with eating the correct foods also. Remember it is not about doing hours of cardio the reason your not doing great on weight loss it because of what your putting in your trap. So far the 16-8 fasting program is working for me some days 17 - 7. Very religious about it now. So far I have lost 7 lbs in 5 days. I can tell the difference. Great app and not expensive but there is a cost. Enjoy
Love the app but really wish there were other measurements besides grams.
Won’t allow use without subscription anymore. Helpful to have the free version without the frills when I’m broke. Lame. Bye.

I can’t find any recent (2024) review
The fact that I can see a visual reminder of my eating window is the reason I love this app. It kind of conditions you to be mindful of your eating window. I love the food tracker and the meal suggestions! I feel confident I’ll meet my goal weight in no time!
Great app, has a ton of potential. Wish the grocery list combined the same ingredients so I knew exactly how much almond milk I need or how many raspberries. To see them each by day all separately doesn’t help when at the grocery store. I wish I could view the list in a variety of ways, and I think it’s crucial that the ingredients are aggregate.
I’m currently searching for a fasting app to replace Life since it’s shutting down. The amount of questions this one asks you just to be able to even get to the interface is absolutely absurd, and there’s no way to skip them. What are they even for? It doesn’t actually do anything with that information to actually help the user in any way. That and the fact that you have to consent to a very long privacy agreement gives me a bad feeling about how they’re using our data. It’s way WAY too busy, trying to do way too much, and not user friendly at all. There are better ones out there.
