I mainly use the measure tab, and it has been working well, but all of a sudden it is the only tab that doesn’t work. You click it and it kicks you out of the app. You can’t do anything to get in that tab.
Is there some way to log the foods I eat and not follow your suggested plans
There are foods listed that are not easy to find and one that unless you are finding it in the wild is not available in US.
This app does not journal what you eat or how you exercise. It simply gives you very limited choices of what to do
I’m new to carnivore (week 2 here) and have been looking for an all in one app to log food, log fasts, track macros.. the whole deal. There is no tutorial here. You have to just figure out how to use the app. It took me ages just to figure out how to delete a measurement. Tracking food is a total pain. The only option is to keep hitting the little refresh until you find something you ate, but if what you ate isn’t listed, then you still to track it on an outside app. It’s frustrating that you can’t just add your own food. And in regards to food, it’s also frustrating that you can’t remove meals. I am focused on OMAD and 2MAD. I think the only way to ensure I’m only logging one or two meals is to just not check off the third one. But it would be ideal to be able to just remove it altogether. I purchased this today, tried it out all day, and am preparing to just cancel and uninstall, and request my $30+ back from Apple support. I wish it would have been possible to do a trial first to see if it would even suit my needs. Love the concept, but as a beginner… this is just not user/beginner friendly. And beginners really need to be able to set themselves up for success. If tracking becomes frustrating and overwhelming, it’s all that much easier to give up.
Only use the fasting timer part of the app…no real meal plans, no nutrition values or macro information. Will pay for another app with those qualities like MyFitnessPal.
Looked at it for less an hour. I wanted it to work for me. Figured paying a subscription would get me more information and help. I did not seem to get anything better. I truly don’t understand this app. Tried to log and it’s not a good design. To log a meal you have to click through all the options until you land on the one you ate. And if you miss, click through again. I realised I wasn’t going to use this app so I cancelled and deleted the app. I’m realising now I only stopped it from renewing. So now I’m out the $30 for nothing. I would love my money back since I only used it for less than an hour. Like I said, I wanted it to work for me. Sorry.
It’s great if you are a beginner, however, I do wish it would send more notifications of when to start fasting and when to stop fasting. Sometimes I forget to track it or put it in. Also maybe offer some meal plans for 1 week that are free and beginner friendly to give an idea of what the app could really offer. Great overall.
Tried to use it but it kept asking me to pay money to do anything useful with the app.
