Fat Cats Fun FAQ
Is Fat Cats Fun free?
Yes, Fat Cats Fun is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Fat Cats Fun legit?
⚠️ The Fat Cats Fun app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
The description of the app says you can earn and track points. That’s false! They took out the ability to track your points. There needs to be a little indicator somewhere that simply shows how many you’ve earned. The points seem to still add up, but you have to ask someone in person to look up your balance. The rest of the app is nice and functions normally.
Just one thing -
Please just add Apple Pay!
Double charged for movies
The app froze while purchasing movie tickets. After a while it went through but we had been charged two times. The movie tickets also weren’t showing up in the app.
New update
The new update took away the ability to look at how many points you have and choose what you want to use those for. I’ve had my app since 2019 and used it quite frequently with this app. It makes me not want to come back to fat cats if I’m not earning rewards.
Great improvements
My family and I have always loved going to the movies. Our favorite place to go is Fat Cats. I didn’t like using the app to buy tickets because of the booking fee. I’m so happy that they waive that fee for Gold members. The app is great and easy to use.
Original app was better
App is cool, but honestly, it was way better before because you could access your reward points easier and also watch trailers to movies before now you can’t do any of that. They made the app horrible .
Update is so so bad
Update is so bad, it was enough to come and leave a review about it. Can see I’m not the only one. Cant see points. Movie booking process is awful. If You back out of a movie time you have to start from beginning. (Reselect date, etc. lots of hopping around and clicking.) The only improvement is not having to select numbers of tickets each time before going into a new movie time when backing out. Can do that towards the end when you’ve selected seats before checking out now. Please keep that feature and return the old ones. Also the icons aren’t clear ex: button that says sign out is more user friendly than a man running icon. Should be able to use points and freebies within the app as well and upgrade to paid membership each year aka renew.
Once a seat is selected, it never unlocks
If I select a seat for a movie ticket, and then the app crashes or I change my mind, it’s locked forever, and I can never purchase that seat again, even after the 10 minutes is up. I have even tried un-selecting the seat, and then coming back later and the seat is still locked. The theaters are losing money because the seats are locked permanently. No one can ever buy them again. The rest of the app works but this is an unacceptable bug for a movie ticketing app. The bug has been there for at least several months, developers if you read this, please fix it.
Latest update
Horrible update. Unable to see point totals or redeem points for tickets. The interface is non intuitive and hard to navigate. Nothing is where it should be.
Horrible Update
After the latest update, I can no longer see my point totals or redeem points for movie tickets. That was the whole reason I paid for the yearly membership. Who tested this update and thought “this is amazing”? Pretty sure a subpar program could design something better than this…
