Fender Play Reviews

Caught in a loop

dakine70 on

United States

For whatever reason, I cannot get access. I am caught in a loop where it wants me to sign up, but then says I already have a subscription. When I try to log back in, it goes to the same screen. I was charged though, so Fender got their $19.99 out of me. I’ll contest with my bank. What a waste of time…

Worst app ever

Zombiemommiee on

United States

You have to pay $150 a year. Or $20 a month. Do not get this app.

Buggy and unusable

Isnanoabdjna on

United States

All audio, including metronome, does not work when doing the Practice and Feedback portions of My Path.

They never stop charging you even after you cancel

njh2738 on

United States

I have canceled this subscription multiple times and they keep charging me. This is the second year in a row I have to dispute their charge to my card. Do not sign up for this app unless you want them to endlessly charge you money without authorization.

Errors

CoolRobski on

United States

I have mostly enjoyed the app but occasionally there will be a glaring error in the instructions that doesn’t make sense or I feel needs correcting. I’ve wrote feedback to the app designers before but no one ever replies.

Why!!!

Electric-Kidd on

United States

I don’t like it how u have to pay to play the songs why can’t it just be free to play certain songs and you unlock some on your way.

Great App for Beginners

JimB127 on

United States

I love the app and has helped me start my journey to playing guitar. The easy to follow lessons are great for beginners to intermediate players. I looked at other learning options and found myself always going back to this app for the best learning and comprehension. Love it.

Decreasing quality

Aljasper on

United States

This has been my go-to app for learning guitar for more than four years, but I’m increasingly disappointed with the quality. Many of the lessons are over-simplified versions of songs, but I want to learn the full, accurate versions. The app is messy and poorly organized. (There should be better ways to organize favorites or view songs and riffs.) The price doubled at my most recent renewal (and I could find any way to add a discount code), so I will be cancelling my subscription this year. There are better apps out there to learn guitar and I will stick with them.

This is outrageous

Jojobee1219 on

United States

You have to pay like 174 for one year.i would only recommend for rich people.

Great tutorial

Boxster Box on

United States

I really love the way that the instructor takes his time to go through the material, this is one of the best song tutorials in the Fender catalog. Fender really needs to bring back Fender live but with him as the main host. He was very good in the beginning when I first joined. Eugene Edward’s was also very good but k Not only should Fender have kept Live going but you should have kept this guy.
