Description

The Fiddlicator2 Core is an AUv3 audio effect plug-in which can simulate various kinds of acoustic environment by the convolution of the input signal with a custom Impulse Response. It is based on the convolution engine from the original Fiddlicator app redesigned to an AUv3 plug-in and extended with stereo processing.

The Fiddlicator and Fiddlicator2 Core AUv3 plug-in was developed to simulate an acoustic body resonance for electric musical instruments (mainly the electric violin), but it can also be used for a CAB simulation with proper impulse response files (not included).
The Impulse Response files can be imported directly from the iOS Files or via iOS Share.

- AUv3 plug-in
- main filter is based on convolution, supported IR length is up to 65k TAPs
- IR files could be imported from wav audio files, CSV/TXT files or BDD files (BodiLizer)
- high-pass and low-pass filter on input
- low latency
- both mono and stereo Impulse Response files are supported
- IR could be loaded separately to each audio channel

Works beautifully in Loopy Pro

This app works beautifully in Loopy Pro and does exactly what it is supposed to clearly and efficiently. I gave it a five star rating because of that. Unfortunately, it does not work yet in Luma Fusion (which would be really handy). It just immediately locks up. Fix that and you’ll still get the same five star review… but I would be even happier! :-)
