Letting a technician become a service provider adds competition, lowers pay and takes away from the actual company to choose who they hire. It feels like this site is in a downhill trend compared to previous.
It logs me out randomly. Why is this happening?
Their system is a joke, it’s ran like a school girls pact club ever changing as their minds change about things that are not important or relevant to the industry. They will not notify if you have been assigned a job that was one of the 43 routed jobs daily they send you, but no worries, they’ll def let you know when a job was assigned to someone else, bc that’s more important. Don’t expect to get on here and get to work. You gotta have a lot of patience to get your first assignment and it might be a year before it happens. So don’t expect to be making money right away. On top of that they allow some buyers to not pay you until the jobs is completed plus a 45 day admin period they place on the jobs. Bc we all like to work without pay as well. If these protocols are what you see fit by all means, oh and you aren’t allowed any emergency’s or you’ll get a public strike on your profile, if you call off a job for any reason it should be bc your dead, and I garunteed the metrics will still be marked even then. Shame on you for showing up dead last Tuesday.
Mobile app UX is way better than their web browser interface. clarify everything via Messages before committing to anything if you don’t understand or if something doesn’t seem right.

I love how well the app works on my iPhone! It would be amazing if it could also run on my iPad, though. When I'm on-site and need to check documents or detailed information from work orders, the larger screen would make things so much easier to see. I think compatibility with the iPad would really enhance the experience! Thanks for considering it!
I have done a lot of work for FN going back to 2013. But fast forward to 2024 and many will say there is something wrong. For me I have noticed payment opportunities where I absorbed not getting paid due tighter rules, requesting work and having it assigned to me but seconds later have the work assigned to someone else, to work acceptance and a problem at least 3x support will not asset or take a call to checkin, and the classic requesting 6-7 jobs but getting none. I realize I am a 1099 contractor but are also the muscle that Field Nation relays on to get the work done.
