Fighter Verses: memorize Bible

This summer I completed my fifth year using the Fighter Verses app. Now I am going through the verses again, plus adding verses from the children’s collections. I love the quizzes that you can use to practice the verses; the songs are very helpful to aid in memorization. And I love how it has you continually review the verses. Highly recommend Fighter Verses.

Lots of different quizzes, access to whatever version you prefer, scheduled review, this is really a fantastic tool for anyone who wants to memorize the Word of God in a systematic fashion.

First of all this app is a great way to memorize scripture, but I don’t understand why it doesn’t have all the verses. It is also really hard to search for verses and find the one you are looking for, but overall I like the app.

I have used this tool for years and have grow to love how well it works. I have also gifted this app to friends who are struggling to memorize and have found they enjoy using the app as well! Try it out and once you’ve used it to memorize, share it with others you are doing life with!

It’s very helpful to me as I’m getting ready for middle school and I go to Norfolk Christian so I do bible verses every week! Even though it can be stressful this really helps my teacher recommend this for me to use at it works thank you 🙏 Hannah

The app is easy to navigate. I especially like the songs/tunes to help me remember verses. I would like to let the memory review be optional, even though it is a good help.

This app is such a versatile tool for helping me memorize the Word. I like the tracking feature, the songs, and the recall quizzes.

I have been using this app on and off for a long time. Love it! You not only have access to their collection of key verses, but you can add your own! Once you have a few dozen verses memorized, it can be hard to know when to review, how often, etc. This helps all of that so no scripture falls through the cracks! Not as helpful for longer passages, but those I just add as custom verses, and add in as half-chapter chunks. I do miss the error tracking that the first letter typing mode had. This mode is super useful for quick and thorough review, but I feel the older way you had it was better, where it would track your errors so as you’re going through you can see your most common mistakes and learn from them. Please bring back if possible!
