FigJam: Whiteboard & draw

App is glitchy in iPad compared to the desktop version. Drawing in Figjam is pretty bad compared to Apple's own whiteboard Freeform. while in the middle of drawing the tools stop working suddenly which is frustrating...making the app unusable on the iPad

Fix it

Tools stop working suddenly, its a frustrating experience compared to the desktop or browser version.

Maddening not being able to take screen shots or things from other apps and easily paste into FigJam. IE, can’t copy something from Apple’s Freeform and paste in FigJam. Screenshots don’t copy-and-paste to FigJam either.

I use this on iPad with the pen and it’s not great. Usually, I am a fan, but not of this implementation.

I honestly only use this app because it’s what my business uses and that makes it convenient to share things. The lack of full support for the Apple Pencil is a huge turn off. I would much rather use a product that supports all of the Apple Pencil or Apple Pencil Pro features.

Doesn’t match refresh rate of the ipad pro, or the apple pencil when drawing.

There is now way to change pages in Figjam file.

Could not enter text. Searched web for a solution; found one; didn’t work. Found three or four other solutions, tried them all, did not work. Abruptly it allowed me to enter text. Then I opened another text box and it would only allow me to enter text in the first box, not the new one. Software should work. Users shouldn’t need to spend half an hour armwrestling your app before they can write the word “The.” And I was never able to write a word after “The.”

I was a little out of my comfort zone, the only real reason I got this app is because I’m pretty sure Jamboard is being shut down, but it didn’t force me through a tutorial, and it was a fun minute or so to figure out(and be a little surprised by) the tools.
