Works to a certain extent.
It works to a certain extent. For some files which otherwise can be synced through iTunes and opened with Apple bilt-in apps like Videos, Photos and Music as well as opened by FileBrowser itself, have issues with "Open In" function showing the alert "No apps have registered with iOS to handle this file type". Therefore those files can't be copied on iPad and used by respective app. FileBrowser support replied: "Regarding the "Open In" feature, when an app installs it registers itself as being able to accept particular file types. FileBrowser has no control over which app appears in the "Open In" menu, as this is controlled by the iOS. It would appear that Apple's video app doesn't register itself for "Open In" for these file types." FileBrowser doesn't support all Apple iPad accessories like AV composite cable which otherwise works great with other apps while streaming video if you want TV out. Hope this can be fixed.
Sehr gut File App
Die beste App um Dateien aus allen Quellen zu verwalten. Stürzt nicht ab, kann Ordner mit >13.000 Dateien /Fotos ohne Problem einlesen und verwalten. Ist jeden Cent wert und absolut Fair. Gute Arbeit !
Neue Fehlfunktion
Per heute wird bei mir auf dem iPad in Listenansicht/vertikale Ausrichtung zu den Dateien nicht mehr das Speicherdatum und die Uhrzeit angezeigt. In Ausrichtung quer geht es noch, in Spaltenansicht auch. Nachdem das jetzt jahrelang einwandfrei funktioniert hat, fehlt mir für so etwas schlicht das Verständnis. Ich arbeite mit der App ausschließlich im Hochformat, und die Listenansicht ist für tägliche Arbeit schlicht die komfortabelste.
