Description

Find which neighboring squares must be painted and create a beautiful picture! Each puzzle consists of a grid containing clues in various places. The object is to reveal a hidden picture by painting the squares around each clue so that the number of painted squares, including the square with the clue, matches the value of the clue.
Fill-a-Pix are exciting logic puzzles that form whimsical pixel-art pictures when solved. Challenging, deductive and artistic, this original Conceptis puzzle offers the ultimate mix of logic, art and fun while providing solvers with many hours of mentally stimulating entertainment.
The game features a unique fingertip cursor which enables playing large puzzle grids with ease and precision: to fill a square, move cursor to the desired location and tap anywhere on the screen. To fill multiple squares, press and hold fingertip until cursor fills the square and start dragging to neighboring squares. The game also features a powerful Smart-fill cursor for quick, single-tap filling of all remaining empty squares around a clue.
To help see the puzzle progress, graphic previews in the puzzle list show the progress of all puzzles in a volume as they are being solved. A Gallery view option provides these previews in a larger format.
For more fun, Fill-a-Pix contains no ads and includes a Weekly Bonus section providing an extra free puzzle each week.

Fill-a-Pix Reviews

Great time waster

Am loving this app, great range of puzzles included initially and farther packs can be bought in app. I used to like these as puzzle books but using an iPad is much easier. Fabulous app. Would love some puzzles in colour too ....just in case the developers are reading. ;-)

Good for the logical faculties.

I often find that if I get stuck on a puzzle, if I take a break and do something else, even a different puzzle, when I come back to it a clue that I had been blind to now seems obvious. The clue function can be very helpful if I’m completely stuck. But one improvement I’d like to see would be showing a clue in the area I’m looking at instead of showing a clue in some random area of the board. Another improvement I’d like to see is in the error checking function. On a large puzzle it’s sometimes difficult to spot the red cross that indicates an error. If the cross could be made to wink on and off, that would make it easier to spot.

Very Addictive

Been playing this game for over 3 years now and absolutely love it. It’s very absorbing and you’ll find that time just disappears as you play.

Endless fun

Just enough challenge in the basic package: if I paid for more I’d have no other life!

Great app, works a treat!

If you like this kind of puzzle it's fantastic. I do them on paper by hand as well (in "Beyond Sudoku" books) but being able to enter whole block sets at once electronically is really useful! I don't think the 1-star reviewer is right. It's all straight logic, but the more difficult ones are very hard to see with interactions between many groups of numbers. Sometimes the logic is very hard work / almost impossible!

I LOVE THIS GAME!!

Love this type of number logic puzzle and this is (IMO) the best variation! Some of the packs are super expensive tho, and I refuse to buy them!

Really enjoying this game. I have tried the paper version (mosaic from Puzzler?) which I also like but this electronic version is better. Perhaps because it’s on my phone and I can pick it up any time😀. Still enjoying this puzzle after all this time. It’s great to do a big one with a coffee or a little one on the tram ride home. Wouldn’t be without it.

Great puzzle

Really enjoying this puzzle. I’m finding it challenging working my way through the levels of difficulty. I have a tendency with my fat fingers to accidentally change squares when zooming in and out.
