Enjoyable
Really enjoying playing. Controls and graphics are good. But, there appears to be a big with the battle 'wait' mode. It doesn't wait, so you're constantly attacked during battle.

It's amazing getting to replay the best final fantasy(in my opinion) on the phone! I take it everywhere with me! Well worth it. I couldn't believe how cheap it was!
Fantastic gameplay, story, graphics. Can't wait for FF5 iOS
Final fantasy iv is an amazing game and this port plays very well. The graphics look lovely, the music sounds nice (although the voice acting is pretty atrocious) and it's easy to control. The only problem is that it tends to crash (about 5 times in my 28hour playthrough) - though this may be solved in the update. Also halfway through the sound completely stopped working for me unless I used headphones. This is not a problem with my iPad as everything else works perfectly. Game 5*, port 4* - definitely worth the money.
This is how to do an RPG, deep and immersive
Even better than the original DS version. Sharp graphics, brilliant storyline And runs amazingly well on my iPhone 5 A bit more expensive but definitely worth it considering the quality and scale of the game.
Played the original back in the 90s. This one was a fun blast from the past. Finished it in under a month. No problems just a fun play through. Would recommend it to anyone who remembers this game for back in the day. Hope you enjoy it!
It’s good but the original was better when it came to the battle scenes the villains look rushed and pixelated compared to the original. also i remember how cool it looked when you would hit a target with magic and spells compared to this. Since its a strategy game the flow and look of the battle scenes are important and i dont get that with this version. But its still a good game
This is one of the most iconic RPG’s of SNES. I’ve been a fan for a long time of this franchise. Let’s start with the positives. 1st, I enjoy the new look of the game. The characters, cut scenes, world graphics, and how the weapons change as you get different ones…. All very cool additions to the game. Even the augment stuff and trophy hunting didn’t bother me, I found it fun to add this to the beloved game itself…. Follows the story exactly, no weird changes or anything, and all of that is 5 star work!!! Now, the negative that’s a total vibe killer…. The MUSIC!!! Ugh… I don’t know if the new composer is like totally tone deaf or just decided that he wanted to “improve’ one of the greatest soundtracks of all time, but the problem is like nails on a chalkboard…. This person completely changed many of the bass lines and it totally vibe kills the game for me…. The ever popular battle music for normal battles, like dude you can’t mess with that! And what about the drum programming in that battle music? It’s like you programmed a drummer making a mistake on the hits, there ain’t even no kick drum with the cymbal hits!!! Ugh, and Mount Ordeals???? The bass line totally changed the song and there’s no magic there anymore. Just absolutely BRUTAL!! This is just a couple examples out of many. One of the best experiences of playing ANY final fantasy game is the music, especially Nobuo Uematsu’s work. His music sets the vibe for the game. So, to actually have the audacity to change it yourself or incompetence to take on this challenge and fail that horribly, it’s truly an outrage. I can barely keep playing the game hearing this brutal destruction of so many of the wonderful tracks this game had. It drives me crazy…. I could’ve done such a better job…. Anyway, that’s why the 3 stars. Overall great remake, and it’s a shame that the music didn’t keep up with the game.
I played this game back in the day and with this port, the boss Goblez is basically unbeatable with the way it is set up. Everything you hit him with basically just heals him….sad that i got this far in the game and now i face a bug that makes what used to be a relatively easy boss into the ultimate badass…lol
