After subscription to the game you have micro transactions in order to use this apps full functionality!! Not really fair!! Ps release more physical security tokens if you’re closing down the software security key please

I tried to sign in, with the details I had saved on my phone from logging in to The Lodestone. Apparently they are incorrect, yet I try to log in to my account there, they are correct. It’s absolute garbage.

Square Enix are an incredible game dev. As a whole they make amazing games and FF14 is one of them. However to charge for kupo nuts to be able to sell items is a huge miss and appalling. If they changes this the app would be actually useful. Very disappointing. Im shocked they have not addressed this

I have been playing XIV for years and it’s my favourite game, I absolutely adore it. The same can’t be said for this app however, as it’s existence serves as nothing more than accessing some extra on-person storage in game, and behind a paywall no less. It’s purpose is very niche, I don’t know anyone who’s desperate enough to play the market board or access their inventory when they’re not logged into the game. Frankly, I’m shocked they haven’t discontinued this app and offered the extra storage through other means. Overall, it’s an incredibly disappointing outlier next to the MMO, and couldn’t be further from representing the usual high quality surrounding the game.

Unable to log in despite everything being correct and still able to log into the game

This app could have been a really useful tool to use alongside the main game. Manage your gear, send retainers on ventures etc. I would pay for that. Instead, what we have is a clunky piece of garbage that barely lets you do anything. Avoid.

If you could freely update your retainers, send on ventures, use a second map etc this would value. Honestly even if you could use as glamour mirror for trying on different outfits/weapons etc it would be useful. As it stands it’s not worth downloading

FFXIV Companion is a mobile app that allows players of Final Fantasy XIV to view their in-game inventory and friends lists while they’re away from their computer or console. It also allows players to buy and sell items using their retainers at the cost of one Kupo Nut per action (e.g. buying an item, selling an item, changing an item’s price, etc.). Players earn one Kupo Nut per day when they log into the app. This app also has a few more features such as transferring items between your character and your retainers. However, those features unfortunately cannot be accessed unless you pay a premium rate for this app. Personally, I don’t really see the point of paying premium for this app as it only adds to the cost of playing the game. If anything, it’s only most useful for checking your inventory and friends list while you’re away from your computer or console and nothing more. Therefore, although this app is simple to use and functional, it’s not very convenient, so I wouldn’t invest so much into it.

This app is useless, I would 100% use it if there was a feature like sending retainers for ventures….

It is a bit weird just seeing a screenshot of my char, rather than an actual model. You have the basic functionality in the app, just hire a team to polish it up and make it useful. Maybe add some things like: -pvp rankings -Logs -event calendar -quest tracker -glamour -optional item store -achievements -interact with companies -etc Any of these would be great additions.
