The user interface, graphics, and features are superb. Mechs are cool and the girls are cute. Gameplay is fun but the lag makes it nearly unplayable which spoils the fun out of me. Despite the game is about collecting cute girls & earning their affection, the poor machine translation (inconsistent spelling, grammatical errors that are easy to spot, etc) feels like a turn-off for me to get to know the girls (& the game’s lore to an extent) better. No complaints about the gacha system, but the main issues are the awful lag & horrible translation.
A very fun F2P waifu mech game
Just started playing this and it is my first game from your company. I am having a blast so far. Suggestion: It’s already an F2P friendly gacha game with generous pulls but please make some UR more accessible to us. I get it some ultimate mech gears are P2W too but do something exciting or meaninful events to entice the players attention to obtain these UR heroes and add some sweep feature too when doing dailies. It just takes too long sometimes when you’re grinding on a specific mission for the same mode. Again, a very good game for a fledgling global gacha.
Great mech game, bad gacha design
I love the concept of having to collect and build mechs along with their pilots. Iron Saga disappointed me with their top-down gameplay which prevented me from appreciating the mechs I’ve collected.
This, however, had me in love with the design and the mechanics. At first, I didn’t mind having to draw multiple times on a banner for the pilots and their mechs. The pilots themselves are a guaranteed drop not far down the line, and dupes let you be able to purchase the mecha on a redeem shop much earlier since it’s already calculated how many pulls you need to purchase the mech with points without dupes.
Now therein lies the problem. I’m required to pull so many times on a single banner, it leaves no room to do so on others. There’s just not enough ways to gather the crystals you need for draws within the time between banners. You do get daily crystals, but no weekly’s or monthly’s, and there’s no way to farm them similarly like in Arknights.
What’s worse is that even whales don’t catch a break. Their paid crystals are incredibly expensive. A regular banner with no dupes requires a minimum of around 15k crystals to guarantee the pilot along with their mechs, while $100 is only around 6.5k crystals. That’s a hell of a greedy conversion. The UR banners haven’t even arrived in global and I hear the hard ceiling for draws is around 45k crystals.
My final complaint is that the devs seem to be rushing the events, releasing top tier characters while not giving the community enough time to gather draws, whale or otherwise. This gacha would’ve easily been my favorite if not for the things mentioned above. It’s for me a fun and great game, but sadly ruined by bad gacha design.
sad life for free to play
At level 50 to get good gear and ups you need to pay alot to atleast get a decent mech to finish quests. I really like this game but requiring you to spend is the game killer.
Good, but it can be better
I like the concept, gameplay, and character design. It certainly gives out a vibe similar to the successful gatcha games in the app store. However, there are a few areas that must be improved for this game to flourish.
• Graphical User Inferface
The interface reflects the theme of the game but it looks cluttered and unintuitive.
• Visual Quality
I am playing on iPhone XS Max and the graphics look pixelated throughout the game. I have set the graphics to high but it does not seem like it.
• Autoplay Performance
The autoplay system is not effective. Currently, when autoplay is turned on, you still have to control your characters across the map. Only the enemies move on their own which defeats the purpose of this feature and increases the chance of failing missions (particularly the escort quests).
• Gatcha inclusions
I agree with the other users who commented on the game having "too much RNG". I think rolling for characters is enough. Either include their personal mechs with them or provide a way for players to farm the mech parts. In FFBE WOTV, whenever a new character is released, there is a limited quest where we can farm their weapons. I think this scheme will fit perfectly in this game.
To the devs, I hope my detailed review can assist you in improving the game. I like the game and I wish for it to succeed in the near future.
Too much rng
You had to have both the pilot and their special mech for them to be useful, even N and R are better then them, but their special mech will be release much much much later day.
Avoid
Characters look great, gameplay is ok and can be fun, but the main draw of the game which are the characters and mechs are split. Which means you have to spend a lot of currency to get a character’s person mech. You’re basically pulling for 2 things. It doesn’t matter if you get a good character, without their personal mech it’s meaningless.
Units should already come with their own personal mechs when pulled.
GBF gives you character along with weapon attached to that character.
Hot mess
Had problem with downloading. UI is too convoluted. Launch day is bad, I shouldn’t go to Discord to file a report to get the pre reg rewards and compensation.
