Great music player for Jellyfin server. I appreciate the simplicity and responsiveness of the interface, and also the offline downloading feature. I switched recently when I was experiencing issues with the Jellyfin app not allowing app to run in background.

Excellent app, works great except it won’t play .opus files which do stream in other apps. Transcoding for them doesn’t work either. Big bonus that this app supports AirPods with Spatial Audio.

This apps great when I can’t log in! I’ve been getting a POST error and am unable to log in now. All I need is to get back in and I’ll be good again!

This app has been great in the past and looks awesome. Unfortunately I can no longer log into my server…I get a “type null is not a subtype of type bool in type cast” error. I can log into this same server with other clients, no problem. But not JellyFin. Not sure how to troubleshoot.

The lack of OPUS support and a recent update ruined offline mode for me with it being all shuffled when i view the album in offline mode but not online

I have had past issues with this, it’s not a flawless app but I much prefer this over something like Spotify by far. I like the simplicity of it, I’m not much of a fan for over complicated apps to say the least. My current gripe with it though, is that when you download albums now, the song order is completely jacked up. This is as of the last update as far as I can tell. I’m not sure if it’s order of download?

I wasn’t a big fan of Finamp a few months ago and I tried finding an alternative. But now I think Finamp is the best Jellyfin music player which is because of the new wonderful redesign and all of those bugs that got fixed.

The recent update has made some great improvements.

Works well for basic music playback and downloading. Would like to see CarPlay integration, or at least the ability to expose the downloads to another player like VLC for CarPlay. Currently the download locations options doesn’t work at all. Also offline browsing artists would be nice.

Awesome app. My only gripe is when you have the player sideways (landscape) the controls hang past the bottom border of the phone. If this was fixed it would be 5. You can still reach them but 1/4 of the next track pause/play etc is missing. Love the work the Jellyfin team does!
