With TagHalal, you will not have to worry, as it identifies almost all the names of existing preservatives, colorants, or chemical additives and shows them to you in a very simple way.
You will also discover which products are Makrouh (مكروه) thanks to the scanning of the E-code or E-numbers.

» Toxicity level:
Consult which additives are toxic or healthy for your health. You can know the level of toxicity of each additive.
» Indication of authorizations by food associations:

What is Zabihah or Dhabīḥah?
Animals like cows, sheep, chickens, etc., are Halal, but they must be Zabihah (ذَبِيْحَة) (slaughtered according to Islamic rites for Muslims) to be fit for consumption. Some chemical additives are not Halal (حلال) because they come from animals that are not Zabihah or Dhabīḥah (ذَبِيْحَة), and thus they are Haram for the Muslim who consumes them. To ensure that a product containing animal remains is Dhabīḥah (ذَبِيْحَة), you need to ensure that it is stamped by a trusted Muslim organization.
This app will not tell you whether a product is Zabihah or not, but it will inform you if the additive contains animal remains, and you, based on whether you are in a Muslim country, will know if it is Halal or Mushbooh.

Ich habe mir die App, mit Hoffnung auf richtige Ergebnisse, heruntergeladen. Jedoch, als ich mir von Penny *vegane* Falafel gekauft habe, wollte ich scannen, ob etwas drinnen sei was Haram ist. In der App stand, dass in dem *veganen* Produkt Schweinefleisch drinnen sein soll? Ich finde es echt nicht toll. Wie soll denn in einem veganen Produkt Schweinefleisch drin sein?? Ich habe mir dann von Kaufland eine K-Classic Cola Zero geholt und es wieder gescannt, um zu schauen, ob etwas drinnen sei was Haram ist. Dann kam es heraus dass es E951 Inhalten was ein Süßstoff ist. Nur ein Süßstoff. Ich habe sehr viel recherchiert ob es Halal ist oder nicht und es kam heraus dass es Halal ist. Es macht mich sehr traurig dass ich mir öfters umsonst diese Paranoia mache obwohl am Ende nichts ist. Ich empfehle diese App keinem.
Really helpful when traveling
A great app used to help me chose if the product is Halal or not, strongly recommended for those who are traveling to a nom-Muslim country. I wish there was a paid version where ads can be removed.

Die App funktioniert nicht mehr
Bisher fand ich diese App toll. Seit paar Wochen funktioniert sie nicht mehr. Ich kann die einfach nicht mehr öffnen. Bitte um baldige Fehlerbehebung.
