Find Me Gluten Free

Has all the features you could wish for, and ones you didn’t even know you wanted! The only improvement to be made is that the appearance of the app is not customisable, but considering most features are free and the premium is very cheap I think it’s acceptable.

This app has an good idea, but there is some work here to do. Pros are when traveling it’s easier to get an idea of where to eat. Cons are it’s not reliable, this disease is different for everyone and what’s gluten free is different for some. Some people who comment there are either silent celiacs or fad eaters which makes for us who have serious symptoms hard to eat. Another thing is when I eat out safety is the only the important thing, so if the waiter is slow or bad doesn’t matter for this app since the point of the app is safety for us. (There are other apps and google reviews for that.) Improvement ideas, would be nice if there would be more boxes to fill like if it’s a sushi place you should be able to add that they use tamari soy, coconut aminos or if pizza place has a separate kitchen for gluten free. Options as well to add would be if they have gluten removed beer or beer from gluten free grains since some can’t drink gluten removed beer since it’s not entirely gluten free and they can label it gluten free which is causing confusion.

We use the app whenever we are traveling. We have found so many good restaurants and great tips through this app. It’s easy to review the places you’ve visit. All gluten intolerant (celiac) persons should download it!

When we travel I can pack food or not eat. Celiac is no joke. Thanks to the Find Me Gluten free app I can find restaurants I can eat at on trips with a little planning.
