It was in the trash! I had gathered trash from my bathroom, added it to kitchen bag of trash. This app led me right to it, all I had to go was to through the trash ! There was my device in the bottom of the bag. I never would have found it without this app.

After several years of having my FitBit Inspired 2, I lost it. And since I had no idea what to do, I tried 5 apps. The one app that FitBit recommended was a mess (requires coding knowledge), the free ones had ads and weren’t clear if you were near. This one was my 3rd app trying. I purchased the monthly (because my Fitbit at full charge lasts about 3 weeks). Pros: clearly displays when near, if blind also provides sounds, has straightforward instructions. Cons: read the instructions 1st (not really a con, just an extra step), works better if you pay. Recommend: walk slowly into one direction or room and start scanning from the ground then move upwards. Thank you for your assistance.

I tried the app and it did not find my Fitbit.
Couldn’t find my Fitbit and thanks to this app I didn’t have to buy a new one. I found it in the trash can!!! That’s definitely the last place I would’ve even looked.
