Want my money now!? - Goodbye

xPhil12 on

Canada

Was using this app for years with basic function. Now, they want 6.99$ per month to scan my own net work. DELETE

Absolute garbage

Mgurlygurl on

Used to be so good! Now? Ads. Paid subscriptions, “cool periods” that prevent rescans. Deleted.

Terrible cash grab app

Fourrtwentyy on

Canada

Used to let you check your network on the free version, the details were limited but there. Now it says you can only do one check per 24 hours and pushes you to a super expensive subscription. What a blatant cash grab for broken functionality . Uninstalling, there is way better free alternatives

It doesn’t really work.

Im using premium trial and though i can see the devices on my network, I can’t actually block/pause the devices at all. I even have it on my windows pc because they recommended it. Even so, the app doesn’t block/pause the device.

Mobile App is Bait & Switch

canuckbrat on

Canada

I began with the mobile app and subscribed to the service. Very limited functionality with the mobile app, even with the subscription. Keeps telling you to use the desktop app for more functionality. Got around to setting up the desktop app and it did unlock the additional functionality, but now the mobile app is essentially locked into showing the results of the last scan that was done on the desktop app, basically meaning once you activate the desktop app, which they make you do for the extra functionality, the mobile app is rendered useless. If you delete the last desktop scan results from the mobile app, it deletes everything; users, devices, names, etc and you need to start all over. Very disappointed.

Fing Normal is Better than Premium

vwluxkg on

Canada

When I used Fing “normal,” it did a good job, as I could see from the results. When I switched to Fing Premium, it’s done nothing I can see to improve Fing’s performance. So, I cancelled my subscription, but it seems I’m still stuck with the Premium version. Wish I wasn’t!
