Closed all private tabs
The default behavior was to leave them open, just hidden. I had hundreds of tabs open. The behavior was changed without warning.
I don’t want to make big companies rich while stealing my data
And getting targeted ads all the time
Website Redirects
When I enter a website name it redirects me to an advertisement website. So uncool.
Please fix tab retention
Right now the app is unusable. Every time I exit out of the app I lose every single tab, not just private (which I had like 20 private tabs open before the update and lost all of them). What’s the point of using the app if it’s not going to keep ANY tab open? I mainly used this over safari because I need it synced to my computer but I can’t continue using it if it’s just not going to keep any tab open at all. I also don’t know why the “keep private tabs open” feature was removed. It’s beyond annoying and frustrating that every single tab I had open just disappeared after the update and there are literally no mentions about it besides other users having the same problem. Please address this. Until then, I will be deleting the app.
Why does it keep getting worse???
Why with every update is there more things that make this app worse. I used to love Firefox, but this is becoming unusable. You’ve removed the ability to not have tabs closed so that I can always use a private tab. And now all links open in regular tabs rather than private tabs.
The best privacy first browser
I use Firefox’s private search widget. The browser has an amazing strict privacy mode that disabled all cookies. Firefox is privacy at its finest. With their update in June 2024, the incognito windows are closed every time the app closes. Not ideal since I lose all my open tabs.

Don’t want amazon and google to show up on my home page
No way to get rid of in settings. I dislike google and amazon. Amazon burned me on a return so I’m all done with them forever!
