4. Open the universal fire tv remote app and select the target device to connect.
5. Then a 4-digit PIN code will be displayed on the firetv screen. Enter the PIN code on your mobile device to make the connection.
Troubleshoot:
• FireRemote app can only connect if you are on the same WiFi network as your firetv device.
• For iOS 14 and above, Local Network Permission must be granted to this fire app. Without permission, the app could not search and connect to the TV.
• For cases of not being able to connect to fire tv/stick, reinstall this app and reboot the TV will fix most of the bugs.

The app it’s self is great but I don’t like the fact that there is no volume button and off button.

So many adverts that are difficult to get rid of which I’ll assume is the idea. Tried moving along my apps and several ads popped up. Annoy people until the pay for the app 🤦🏼♂️

Just buy a new remote. An ad every 10 clicks, super frustrating. To not get ads you have to pay a monthly subscription… we already pay for the fire stick services.

Barely works, I’m so glad I didn’t waste money on the subscription but god, you can’t even press the button 3 times without a ridiculous ad coming up, and did I say the remote barely works . You have to press the buttons five times before it even connects with your tv. Great job, you had one job mate and couldn’t even do that right !
