Zusammen mit Apple Parental Control und einer fähigen Firewall hat man ein bissl Kontrolle zurück darüber was und wie viel die Teens im Netz konsumieren. Firewalla gibt mir super Logs was geschaut wird. Parental Control & Batterieverbrauch wie viel und die richtige Firewall, mit Wifi Ausschaltung Nachts, die Sicherheit, dass Nachts nicht heimlich geglotzt wird. Ich weiß, das ist mit Kanone, aber es ging nicht anders da jede Lücke ausgenutzt wird
Installed in Germany with Telekom as provider and Draytec Vigor 167 as Modem. Works absolutely well. Installation took 5min. Router function with PPPoE worked fast, as written in the manuals. Push messages and detections are way more advanced regarding understanding for not-expert users than any other solution. Awesome!
I am using Firewalla for a few years, started with Blue and now Gold. The box offers great security features and very good usability (app, web interface). Developers are continuously improving the app and listening to the community. It would be great to see an app notification counter at the app icon. Sometimes I am missing notifications in the Apple notification center.
I like the easy app, the great hardware and the tiny magic box which protects our network. You guys do a great job!
