I was hoping to get help with a skin care routine to reduce the signs of aging. All I got was a confirmation that I had wrinkles and information you could find on YouTube.
They told me a few options of what my rash could be and then told me to go to a dermatologist. Waste of $35.
App provides a response saying you need a prescription but does not provide the prescription. Therefore you will need to still go pay a doctor for the actual prescription.
Paid $69.95 for expedited evaluation. Have not received evaluation as of time of this review; app indicates they reserve the right to take 48 hours to respond for premium services.
You cannot converse with the person reviewing your case. Therefore the service is not at all helpful. The provider said I likely have something caused by sunlight exposure and it’s WINTER where I live, and grey every day. What a waste.
" Downloaded the First Derm app during a trip I made and developed a skin rash. The app was easy to use and answer was pretty quick and forthcoming."
This app is impressive. Quick and easy to use with answers on the go. Would reccomend first dern online Dermatology
If you're looking for someone to tell you what the problem -might- be, without giving any sort of advice on OTC things or necessary changes, then this is perfect for you. Spend $35-65 to basically have someone tell you what you need to google
My son developed an odd circular rash last week on his temple. My wife took him to our pediatrician and they told her not to worry about it and that we should consider changes to his diet, which hasn’t changed in the last 6 months and he has had no other issues since. Before seeking a referral to a dermatologist we tried First Derm. The app confirmed that it was in fact a fungal infection that needed a topical ointment. We started treatment a few days ago and it’s already starting to clear up. Thanks for saving us the time, money, and pain of letting this linger!!
