What happened to the game ?

So this game from totally free to play to pay to play… kinda disappointed tho. Now they also got some kind of “subscription” to unlock the whole game and all other countries except three default are now behind paywalls. Overall, the gameplay is great and all, graphics is fine, not bad for a 200MB game. The controls is still bad and somehow even worse than what i remembered. Now you can have multiple provinces focus research one one thing at a time. Definitely love the new kind of daily challenge mode but the online is somewhat buggy. Miss the old version of this game to be honest.
