FAST AND SIMPLE
Easy to setup…quick on the water. Before you go...Enter the names of your favorite lakes and streams. Select your favorite fish and lures from FishingSmart’s preloaded lists (over 60 fish and 3,000 lures)….or create your own. On the water...Catch a fish and press the Catch button. All the fields are quick selects and you can enter as much or as little information as you like. Edit or add data anytime.
AUTOMATIC GPS, WEATHER, TIME
With each catch, FishingSmart quickly and efficiently determines your current GPS location, realtime weather conditions and date/time, then stores them automatically.
AUTOFILL
Each new catch autofills most of the data from the previous catch. After all, you’re probably still fishing the same lake with the same water characteristics, catching the same fish, and maybe even using the same lure.
STATISTICS
List all your catches or narrow down the list using powerful Filters and Sorts. Select statistics for the list showing over 20 categories…the best spots, lures, lure color, fish type, fish weight, weather conditions, water conditions, etc.
MAPPING
Map individual catches or multiple catches from a list, e.g., map by date range, time of day, fish type, lake, lure, etc.
PHOTOS
Store a picture of your catch by taking a photo or picking from your Photo Library.
COMPREHENSIVE
For each catch, ability to log:
- Lake or stream name
- Date/Time
- Voice Memo
- Purpose of trip
- Fish name, length, weight
- Lure name, weight, color
- Water temp, clarity, depth, level
- GPS location
- Weather

Great fishing app
I’ve been using this app for several months now and it is truly great! It is really fast and easy to input data while on the water and the data is so easy to review later. I tried multiple similar apps and this is by far the best!
Really good fishing app
Just started to use it and so far love it. Great job.
A few tweaks and it would be perfect
I’ve used this for two years and really like it. It would be better if you added a field for type of rig like a Ned rig, Tokyo rig, Carolina rig, etc. Also of you could add notes field to the stats so you could sort by that.
Great app but….
I love this app and it does exactly what I want it to do but I wish it saved the data to the iCloud when I upgrade devices all my data goes too. It may do it but I can’t find confirmation. Also share my data between iPad and iPhone so I can have it anywhere.
Best fish log
This is the best fishing log app I have found. I used this app to log more than 600 fish last year and I love it. No other app I’ve found automatically captures precise location through GPS, records the date and time and automatically records the weather conditions. You can quickly and easily capture all other important details about each catch. I stopped just short of five stars because it would help to have a field for trailers and trailer color in the lure section.

I really love this app. Would love to be able to create a login so I can share stats between devices ie iPad and iPhone
Best fishing log out there
I use this all the time. Keeps track of everything and has made me a more effective fisherman. Love the maps and filters that allow me to view my catches any way I want to see them. And it’s all so easy to enter the data....no wasted time on the water.
A++ app
Can’t say enough about how much my Son and I love to look back from summers past and see all the fish we caught and remember the weather that day, the location and what we used to catch the fish. Fun and easy app!
The best fishing log ever
FishingSmart keeps track of everything and it’s fast. Most fields auto fill so you can log a catch quickly while on the water. I love how I can go back and look at where I caught fish at the same time the previous year. If you love to fish this is a must have app.
