FishSmart NSW Reviews

Not worth getting

Dimmy124 on

Australia

You would think they would have included in the app tips on how to catch the target species like what rig and bait to use. Very basic information an app like this should have.

Could be good, but very buggy

Pointy_Potato on

Australia

Installed this app to keep track of our family’s catches, but after just a week or so of using, it loses data (photos, location), time date seems random - the list goes on. Come on NSW, lift your game!

Could have been a great app, not even near there…

hoonaberry on

Australia

Very buggy, fish size and bag limit should work when off line as well since a lot of fishing spots don’t have reception. Searching function on fish don’t work well. Also it would be great if it works on apple watch too.

Needs refinement

1mule1812 on

Information is there, but you want to check it and is hard to read ( grey writing instead of deep black) you also can’t enlarge the writing. The app developers need to hop in an open tinny in bright daylight with a lot of rocking. Fish identifier won’t rotate pictures so even on large iPhone max harder to identify (once again hop in tinny) Map handy idea but once again information is small and can’t be enlarged . Thanks

Moon phase is incorrect

rawsilk on

Australia

It’s a WAXING crescent not a WANING crescent. Can’t give a rating for an app which can’t even get the moon phase right. What else have you got wrong?

Works well

Compatability

Not compatible with older ios devices.

App not working!!!

FishWhisperer2 on

Australia

This app will not allow me to register or sign in, advising to try later. Not happy! Tried deleting and reloading and still no success.

Measurements and comments don’t save

Mtgnoob on

Australia

Nice streamlined app, but I have issues on iOS where measurements and also comments on photos don’t save even though no errors occur. If saving multiple photos, the upload just duplicate one single photo and there is no no at to delete or change the photo. Please investigate and fix bugs if possible.

Great app

Great app to have on hand when fishing. To have that chart to show how many and how long the fish have to be is very handy without a mat or anything.
