Description

Fit Foods Coach is a meal plan assistant that can be used to help you meet your dietary goals. Get healthy and stay there! We do all the hard work - all you need to do is tell us what you were supposed to eat on your nutrition plan, how much you were supposed to eat, and then we show you the best matches based on macro nutrient similarities (protein, carb, fat). Compare foods in the list and once you find the food you want to eat, and we'll tell you exactly how much to sub in of the replacement food item!
Using a calculator to compare foods can be time consuming and confusing - let us do the work by comparing macros and showing you the best substitution.
Are you trying to lose fat, build muscle or maintain your current physique? Any type of dietary plan that you have, can use Fit Foods Coach to help. Use it to find post workout carbs, stick to your meal plan with similar foods or work with recipes to make something fresh and creative while maintaining the same macros.
We have all the staples of your nutrition plan in our database and we'll be updating the foods regularly to give you better matches for what's on the menu or in your pantry. We have all types of food groups - vegetables, fruits, meats, beans, potatoes, whole grains, etc.
Fit Foods Coach requires an active subscription and internet connection. We do offer a free trial with the yearly subscription, so you can try before you buy.
Get started with a 7-day free trial!
Most foods are measured in grams for complete accuracy when weighing, but we keep it easy for things like bread and wraps and do it by the slice. We'll help you compare the weights/volume of the different food options so you can choose to eat more or less based on your needs!
We're always looking to improve. Contact us at [email protected] with suggestions or feedback.

Fit Foods Coach Reviews

Good but expensive

It’s a good app but the database of foods seems to be on the small side for the monthly price. It can only return so many different matches so after a dozen or so searches you can start to get the gist of what will come up every time. Also I’m not sure how the matching algorithm works but it seems a little inconsistent. This is minor and I still think it’s a good app, but you can change only the amount of a food and it will return a different list of matches with different match percentages. I would be willing to pay not more than $5/month for this, $4 I think is about right, and if the database was to be expanded I would be willing to pay more.

Paid only

Will not even let you preview anything unless you subscribe at over $9 a month. With so many free or preview-able apps, I decided not to pay just to see. 24 hour trail might have shown if worth it.

Awesome

I love this app! Easy use and to quickly sub out foods! Best feature is that it provides sub options with a match percentage.

Fantastic Food Sub App

I absolutely love this food sub app!! It has a very extensive list of foods that you can not only search for but then also swap out for a different type of food-not feeling like chicken? Swap it out for a whole list of other options. Genius! But best of all, it breaks it down by best matched food item and shows a comparison of the macronutrients. It takes the guess work out of whether you should or should not eat something in order to still maintain your diet and fitness goals! I rate it five stars for ease of use, level of expertise and overall ability to help me with my nutrition needs.

Great App!!

Love this app! Super easy to use. Visually appealing. Integrity of the macros is the best feature and something you don’t always get with other apps out there. Having the sub options show up at various % levels makes choosing easy for when you are on the go. Overall it’s far superior to others I’ve used. Would definitely recommend.
