If you want a thorough app without basic features locked behind a paywall, then this one is for you! The AI calorie guesser is by far my favorite feature on any calorie counting app as well as the FREE barcode scanner. Thanks Fitbee 🥰
Minimal, elegant, and only the features I need. Much better than the bloated alternatives.
This is by far one of the best calorie/ macro counting apps. There isn’t a bunch of junk ads, or articles, or other nonsense in the way. It’s simple to use and super convenient. 10/10
This app is very nice, from the ui design, layout etc I’m really pleased with it. The widget is also a nice tracker when you want to check but don’t want to go into the app itself so that’s another plus. Personally, even though I am tracking macros in this app, I have a sense of leniency towards the database because I’m not nitpicky about each and every single macro so I don’t mind slight error. If there is also an error you can just add your own macros into the database which is nice. I think the database is simple and easy to use which makes it a more enjoyable experience. You can create your own recipe if needed and just putting in the ingredients it’ll calculate the macros per serving for you which is also very convenient. Overall the app is a great experience and I think everybody should at the very least try it out as the app is definitely worth it.
There is way too much going on in MFP in my opinion, and the only pieces i like are in FitBee. Shortcuts & Siri are a super easy way to scan a barcode ASAP and it has the core features MFP has. Just be very diligent about what your goals are and if you’ll be able to track your metrics with either app.
It could be difficult to track everything you eat if it’s annoying to do so. This app makes it very simple, quick and easy so I can do it as I go. it would be nice if there was a way to export the data and put it into a CSV file or something like that so I can analyze it later.
Wish you could export other workouts from other devices than just apple. Allowing to input or enter workouts from other devices would be great or even able to edit. Nope. Sorry if you think I’m being critical but the workout side of this app needs tuned up. The calorie side of the app I would say is good. Better yet would be if it provided you with healthy alternatives to include or exclude from your diet…hmmmm🤔.
I’ve used a bunch of calorie trackers and FitBee is the best I’ve found. It’s got a large nutrition database and barcode scanning is free. I also like that I can take a photo and get a calorie estimate. Highly recommend it!
I’m new at this (second full day) but finding that with the free scanner I can get almost all my regular foods added. I started with a rival app yesterday but it requires everything be entered by hand without getting the premium version. This app lets me get a real feel for it’s utility without making me pay for a month. It is also easy to create a recipe for a meal you regularly eat. I will most likely buy the premium version since this is nearly perfect. I do see one area which would undoubtedly make this head and shoulders above rival apps. The developers should make it possible for me to add foods I always have on hand without having to add them to a meal or snack. I saw another reviewer also suggested having a “Pantry” users could store their regular foods in for quick access. I have made a work around by adding products I will use soon and putting them in a meal or snack with the smallest possible quantity like 1/8 serving or 1 gram so I can retrieve them tomorrow or later this week without having to scan labels and add micro nutrients. In short I love this little app and am happy to add new brands of food from Central Texas to the database so future users can easily add them without scanning. Thank you for the great app and keep making it better.
