Long onboarding process only to hit a payment gateway commitment before trying the app. The app itself doesn’t track well outside very common foods, questionable portion calculations even on that. Data seems to only collect for short period. Couldn’t find it again.
Can’t try the app without purchasing
I have put more than 20 barcodes and none of them are recognised I will need to add all the details. If I take the picture of products it doesn’t let you select you the right quantity. Not sure how other people said it is extremely useful when it is totally the opposite.
This all piqued my interest after seeing it in a bunch of videos. Gave it a go myself; weighed up a few meals and calculated the macros then did a comparison with the AI scan… I found it pretty consistently under estimated the total calories by about 30-50%. Weirdly though, it was very good at working out the protein which was pretty spot on every time, that’s the only reason this isn’t a 1 star review.
Barcode scanner is useless. Ai misinterprets nutrition labels. When attempting to add items to yesterday’s log it refuses and logs it for today. Total scam.
Amazing food recognition and calorie tracking. Big downside is it only stores the last 7 days and deletes the data for anything older. So unless you transfer the data to another app it’s only a weekly tracker! Great UI
When I first got this app, I purchased the 1 year subscription. The app worked well and I was happy with the convenience of a picture to macros app. There were some UI bugs occasionally and sometimes the app would forget a whole day of food. Plus I couldn’t check far back history. Now after the latest major update, those issues are old news. I am happy every time I use the app. Plus they now have a label snapping function which is great. Love FITHUB. I definitely recommend it.
Great concept, and sometimes it works alright but even when you scan a barcode it will incorrectly input the calories and protein. One of my protein bars I put in had 180 calories and it put in 250. If it can't even accurately count a barcode calories how am I supposed to count on it to accurately count a picture or a description?
The app is not good. You have no idea how many calories you had unless you do math because the app only shows the remaining calories. Same for macros. Plus all you can see are macronutrients. And on top of everything, it is a paid app. I saw an add on Instagram and thought it would be a good one to try. But it is not worth it. The idea is good, but it needs some serious improvement.
