Fitness Buddy Reviews

Feels like a scam

Why did I just pay $4.99 for an app that I could find for free elsewhere and where many of the features in the description are an additional cost? Waste of money.

Not worth downloading

I have never seen an app that charges you to download and after they charge you 81 dollars for a year. It’s a rip off maybe you should let people download the app for free for a trail. I deleted the app. Not worth it. Also you log in your meals on this app don’t waste your money.

Updated for Apple Watch?

This app is amazing. The only missing function I would have to use is the Apple Watch interface. Is that something planed for tte future? Otherwise it’s 99% perfect!

Feels like a rip off now

I liked once I first bought the app, ever since the new update the fitness buddy classics are locked now, in order to unlock them you have to subscribe premium now, I don’t like to pay this app every time when subscription ends just to keep them unlocked, before this new update they stayed unlocked

I love this app, I use it everyday a must have

Great App but crashes a lot

I have found that unless my iPhone is plugged in, the App crashes and then you have to start the workout over. There is an option to merge your activities but that does not get rid of the repetition. Meaning you see both the exercises you have done and the one’s you haven’t due to having to restart the same workout.

Once a great app, now full of ads and premium.

I bought this app years ago. Now I’ve been pushed out of all my workouts I paid for originally and bombarded with ads for their premium model. I won’t be using the app anymore due to this style of customer service.

Don’t not buy !

Showed a whole bunch of workouts, so I bought the app, and then they all disappeared. Waste of money

Could be improved

**update July 1** After taking a break from the app for a few months, I’m really excited to see that some of my recommendations are implemented. I’m looking forward to putting it back to use! Thanks for hearing me!! ** I’ve used this app for a long time as a free user and only recently started with a subscription. I had hoped to use some of the workout plans to keep me moving while too busy to log normal routines. The advantage is that I can set the duration of the training and not have to watch the clock. My, and maybe most, user experience would be improved in workout plans if they made some of these fixes: - have a way to mute the music only, it’s too loud behind the “coach”. The current available option silences all audio. - give an option to silence the coach’s encouragement. I realize this can be helpful to some, but audio cues and rep counts are all I really want. With the music in the background, it sounds like chaos. - darken the text for rep counts on the screen. - for whatever reason, even though i specify that I want dumbbell related upper body strength exercises, it still give me resistance band exercises that I have to skip over. Also, the stretching exercises are incredibly limited. In a 15 minute upper body stretch workout, it queues up 4 stretches only for me. I’ve liked the app for it’s exercise logging for years, and the subscription seems to be worth it. These are just some kinks I’d like changed.

Fix the app already!

The app hasn’t worked in 2 months. A few updates ago the app began crashing constantly. It’s so unstable you can’t get through 5 minutes of using it without this happening. The app was “updated” today but the problem still persists. Once again the app is completely unusable in this state and is a total waste of money.
