Short and sweet. Very simple without all the bells and whistles to distract me from what I want to accomplish. There are no formal instructions, but the app is very simple. So with a little trial and error I discovered exactly what I needed.

Super straightforward, love it

This app makes recording workouts super simple and straightforward. I feel like I work out more because of it. Only feedback would be around the weight tracker, only accessible from the workout logging page and the graphical display doesn’t have adjustable views. Navigation between different pages could be better, but otherwise very simple.

LOVE IT! I overlooked several apps before coming across this one. This one offers the simplicity I was looking for— just want to keep track of my routine and progress. Love that it allows me to edit what I SET UP AS CUSTOMIZED GYM ROUTINE. Stay tuned. I’ll give updates in my review during regular use. Right now-LOVE IT!

Simple and Easy to Use

It’s a very simple workout log app. The only thing I wish could be implemented is also being able to add body measurements rather than only having body weight as body weight fluctuates with muscle gain and fat loss.

Exactly what i was looking for!!

This app is straight forward. no gimmicks. You can create/list any exercise you do and log your performance, reps, and distance. Went through so many apps that only listed sport activities, this one you can actually log all the machines you use at the gym. I looove it. only downside is that there’s ads but you can skip them under 5 seconds!

Best exercise logging app I've found

After downloading and trying a dozen different iPhone exercise tracking apps, the FitTracker app was the best exercise logger which has the features I need and which fits with the way I exercise. Most workout apps which track reps and weights for a weightlifting exercise seem to assume that you are doing a gym workout and that you plan out your specific workout routines ahead of time. It is true if we want to optimize building muscle, it is ideal to decide on our routines ahead of time and have a leg day routine, and arm and back day, and this app does support creating these pre-planned routines if you prefer to do so. It’s great if you are able to be that consistent. But personally, I’ve rarely stuck with being so organized with my workouts. Often I do random exercises at home throughout the day or I go to the gym only for cardio machines and then to do a few weight machines also without much of a plan. This app does not force one to ‘start a routine’ or ‘workout’ (eg with a starting time and a timer running) like many of the other apps do. On any day when you want to do some fitness activity, you can just ‘add’ (choose) an exercise (i.e. activity), and you can create a new exercise if it doesn’t already exist in the exercise catalog. You can optionally create routines, and thereafter if you ‘add’ a routine to Today, it will just pull in and display that routine’s exercises on your Today view. If you do not actually perform some of the exercises you have added for Today, you can delete them. I’ve tried several other apps which won’t let me delete exercises within Today’s workout and they clutter my daily view with all the planned exercises even those with zero reps. With this app, I sometimes choose not to use a ‘routine’, I instead just select exercises throughout the day. Let’s say one morning I do some push-ups and sit-ups, later I’ll do some stair climbs, even later go for a walk, and at night do some yoga stretches. Fortunately this app doesn’t force me to start 4 timed “workouts” with predefined routines. It is nice that I don't have to 'start a routine' just to track my stair climbs at various times during the day. When defining an exercise, you can choose to track reps, weight, distance, time, or RPE. It can display charts of your max weight, max reps, best set, and total volume over time for an exercise if it has those attributes. I like this app so I chose to support the developer by paying for the ad-free version which is about $38/yea
