Crashes

It crashes often. Texts are not readable in dark mode! It would be great if the dev would fix ASAP

Sounds great but needs some fixes

Sean Vedell on

There’s lots to love here but a few things that need improvement. Great: Plays all resolutions of your flac files and passes them through to your output device to process. Tap the album art and you get a technical breakdown of what you are listening to. Easy to add files with iTunes for iOS users. Can’t say about other devices. Making playlists is easy. Needs work: Crashes frequently after iOS updates. Seems to settle down after while but you have to reset the database in settings to get the app to work again and you lose your playlists and EQ settings when you do this. Repeats songs frequently even if repeat is not enabled. It’s not consistent either. No way to see what songs are coming up in Shuffle mode so there’s also no way to move a song in the upcoming play order. No way to delete songs from playlists once you add them. I still like it because it sounds so good but an update is sorely needed.

Crashes on iOS11.4

Major bug in iOS11.4 crashes this app. After a first crash, this application refuses to open at all. Is there an update coming?

I also got the bug that requires you to reinstall to fix it. I suspect it gets triggered by the shuffle setting. I have left the shuffle off and the bug doesn't seem to comeback. Wish it supported other codecs like APE, then this app would be a keeper, even with the shuffle bug. An Apple Watch controller would also be nice but not as necessary.

Still not worth 10 bucks :-\

Garbage. Does not fix bugs. Works at first after install then stops working all together even after rebooting and hard rebooting. Must delete the app then reinstall and re-upload all music, then it will work for a day or two before repeating the problem. Not worth paying for. Big hassle and developer will not fix bugs. I'll update my review if the app progresses.

please update!!

bookmarks dont work properly, player heats up phone, forced to reset database because app crashes, player doesnt recognizes songs after lots of reset database because it gets lots of "1" at the end of the file name. please update this app please!! i will be grateful as i have been using this app for a long time. thanks!!! 😊😊

good app!

I bought this app after losing my iPod Shuffle (which couldn't play FLAC anyway). Two years later, FLAC Player still works great :) It's not fancy, but it does everything it needs to, especially if your files are tagged with the correct metadata (and if they're not, you should probably fix the tags anyway).

Awesome

You get what you pay for it seems. Major difference from the free apps. What's the point of keeping your music in flac and using a crappy player

Good, but could be MUCH better

Sean Sutcliffe on

The app does what it does, and preforms it extremely well, but $10 for just .flac files is a bit pricey. Not to mention it doesn't support another type of media files make me have to opt a lot of songs out of my library, or are constantly switching between apps for different songs. The app supports .flac which is great, but should support .mp3 ect so it can be an all in one audio player, then maybe it's steep price of $10 will be justified.

Please fix

So I launch the app and it's all fine and dandy but when I click a song the app just freezes please fix
