Flashy Metronome

Visual Metronome and Tempo Tap

Published by: Robert Olieman

Description

In trying other Metronome Apps, I found that the visuals were always lacking. Especially at a faster tempo, a basic animation like a moving box or a light that comes on briefly with each tick fails to give the sense of meter that I was looking for.
Flashy Metronome uses flashing bursts of color that move around the screen in a metered pattern, each fading naturally. This creates an organic look that feels like rhythm, unlike visual effects that can confuse the eye.

Other Features:
-High precision timing, powered by AudioKit.
-Tempo tap
-Adjustable tick frequency
-Meter
-Optional use of camera flash
