Flave transforms your photos of food and drinks from local restaurants into gift cards and deals that save you money. Snap a photo of your food or drink anytime you order from a local restaurant (defined as less than 7 locations) when either dining in or ordering takeout/delivery. Redeem your Flave Cash for gift cards and exclusive rewards!
How it works:
- Download Flave and create your account
- Visit a local restaurant and snap a picture of your food or drink earn Flave Cash, our in-app currency
- Spend Flave Cash on deals or deals within your Flave Wallet (Gift Cards to local restaurants, Amazon, and your favorite apparel stores).
- Within our ecosystem, every local restaurant (in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area for now) is automatically allocated "Flave Cash" and the process of ordering food and taking a photo gives a user the restaurant's Flave Cash Value in their in-app wallet. Majority of restaurants have a baseline of 10 Flave Cash, but the others have multiplied Flave Cash values to increase rewards.

Badges:
Along your dining journey, unlock unique badges. These badges align with social categories, dining habits, anniversaries and soon they will lead to Flave cash multipliers!
Leaderboard:
Rise on the leaderboard and showcase how you support local while competing against other Flavers. Our monthly leaderboard resets each month, and our top 5 finishers are awarded gift cards to a local restaurant of their choice! Visit the restaurant of the month to earn the maximum amount of Flave Cash within our ecosystem and quickly rise in the ranks!
Profile:
Visit the profile tab to view your “Flaver Level'' and past visits. If you forget what you ordered at a restaurant, this is the perfect place to get a refresher of the meal or drink. The profile tab is also home to your referral code which is a quick way to rack up Flave Cash!
Restaurant Search:
If you have the urge to support local, take it another layer by filtering for LGBTQIA+, Woman Owned, Black Owned, and Veteran Owned restaurants. We also give you the ability to filter for Flave Cash value so that you can find the restaurants that give you the biggest return for your posts.
