I looked at a bunch of different timers and this one seemed to work the best for me. You can name each exercise as well as the entire circuit timer. The app speaks the name that you entered so to know what exercise to do. One missing feature is being able to duplicate the timers. You may put a lot of work naming a ton of exercises and need to do it all over again if you want to reuse things. But you can also skip a set which moves you on to the next one, even if you have not completed the total rounds in the initial one.
Can't find any help feature to understand how to set up timers.
I used to have an interval timer on my iPhone 4 that was perfect for me but it seems to be gone from the App Store and I can't reload it on my new phone. So, I looked for a new one with similar functionality. I went through all the free timers up until this one and they either don't let you save workout timers or they force you to add warm-ups and cool-downs which is useless if you want to make a timer for stretches or warm-ups. This timer let's you completely customize and save your workouts. The only drawbacks are design flaws. There is no copy and paste function. It lets you repeat rounds but if you alternate 3 sets of 4 different exercises, you have to type in 12 exercises manually instead of just 4 and then copy-pasting. What makes this even worse is that timer selection is a scroll selection. For each 30sec exercise (of 12 per 4 sets for example) you have to scroll down half way instead of just typing "0:30." Also, the design doesn't look as good as some of the others but that is a minor complaint.
THIS APP IS HORRIBLE! I CANT WORK THIS OUT! IM DELETING THIS APP RIGHT NOW AND GETTING A BETTER APP. BAD JOB WHOEVER MADE THIS APP😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Great idea allows me to copy in workout classes that you'd get in a gym. Only issue is the "repeat" doesn't always work. For example if I hit "repeat 1" for a stretch to do both left and right sides sometimes the exercise repeats but then later on for another exercise which also has "repeat 1" it only counts down once. Then if you change it to repeat 2 it counts 3 times. So it's hit or miss on the repeat portion of the app but everything else is pretty useful.
