I like Flickr. It's fun and I like the HMI. As a social network it is just right. Sharing pictures with likeminded people is fun and interesting. Top notch

Good structure, very easy and user intuitive. Very good morph with the shop / canvases and other media. A generous free photo space is also important. You can learn from the work of other professionals.

There is no other option if you are into serious sharing of pictures. Love Flickr!

...and I don't recommend it, at least not if you're trying to create an online photo album / camera roll. You can upload 1000 photos before you reach the limit, then you have to pay a very expensive monthly subscription fee to upload more than that. What they don't tell you however is that you are expected to keep paying even when you aren't uploading to keep the photos online, otherwise they threaten to delete the photos that exceed the 1000 photo limit. Had they told me this upfront I would never have invested time and resources in this service. On top of this, the experience of downloading photos is very burdensome.

Works great!

I only use Flickr for sharing and viewing pictures of people I follow. I haven't seen a single picture on the homepage from one of those people. It's just stock photos from pro users. It's become unusable on mobile.
