Some articles or substances are regulated for transport by air as they may jeopardize the health, property, safety or the environment, in this case they are called dangerous goods; Transport regulations allow, as baggage, some dangerous goods under certain conditions.
In the app 'Flight Bagg' you get a list of over 100 items of common use with their requirements to be allowed in luggage. Also mentions those that are banned.
The application also has a link to a web page where there is an extensive list of these items, web page can be consulted in English, Spanish, Finnish and Swedish.
