This is an amazing app and I love it for how much it helps me with my essay writing and time management. However, I updated the app this morning and it is now no longer working. Upon opening, the screen turns grey and fails to respond. I’m upset about this and hope it can be fixed because I love this app!
This app is perfect for anyone who has ADHD or finds it hard to reach deadlines and organise their time. The amount I have to write is realistic and it makes writing a habit rather than a chore. It’s genuinely a time frame I can fit into my life everyday without dreading it, as well as getting the job done. I don’t feel like deadlines are looming over me anymore. THANK YOU FLOAT!
This app has been really helpful and really easy to use! Highly recommend!
I saw this app on the front page of the App Store. I struggle with deadlines and always do things last minute. I am trying to change this habit and this app couldn’t be more helpful. To the app creators, thank you from a student in London, UK!
I love ittt, my other thing is that like once we’ve put in how many words of the day we’ve done. Could it then subtract it from the overall amount and show you how much we have left to do. As this app could also be used to read books for essay deadlines etc if that was the case (Law student here so reading notes and books before the exam is VITAL) x
Great app!! Very easy to use! Very interactive!
Word budgeting? Why have I never thought of that before? So many times essay writing just comes down to me and my laptop 8ish hours before the deadline and me attempting to pull some strands of hair out. Float however is the perfect antidote, I struggle to motivate myself l, especially studying from home. I am someone who thrives off bouncing off of others, and essay tennis is exactly what I needed! It definitely helps that I have a competitive side. I really appreciate that University’s help centres can be accessed as a lot of us undergrads especially covid undergrads may not know exactly wheee to go, and this way I can access any help needed without even involving a third (human ) party. I only wish every University signed up to this service so every student could benefit from this. Thank you so much to the developers for such an innovative idea!! To all my extroverts, introverts, motivated and demotivated peoples - download Float!!!
Live the visual representation of what I should be writing. Wish I could order them by date due though.
Why can't I seem to find it by simply typing in "float" in the search bar in the app store? There seems to be bunch of other apps named similarly sinking this one to the background. I had to find its website and access the app through there. Also, it would be great if you guys considered getting a desktop version as well for those of us who rely on it for full time productivity!
