Having evaluated several flowchart apps, and even purchasing a few, this app with a too-long name has become the one I look to first for making a variety of chart types. Pros: +Try-before-you-buy, only crippled by limiting charts to 2. Reasonable. Everyone should do this. +Impressive list of features. You can do almost anything with this app. +Good shape library for doing BP modelling, flow charts. +Ability to move labels. +Flexible connections. Read the doc on this one, and you'll be doing connections easily. +Curved, straight or bent connections - your choice. +Select multiple objects one by one, or with lasso, path. +Complete align, size and distribute options +Customize page size to your liking. Cons: -Connections sometimes take a few attempts to get right. -Autosave unnecessarily throws up a window every few minutes while you're trying to work. Get rid if this. -Poor freehand shape recognition. Coverts squares to circular-ish blobs. -Fairly expensive at $19.99. -Docs refer to mouse. Should be iOS version specific. - terrible name. It's obviously a build of Grapholite, so how about a catchier name, like "Grapholite Personal" (author has my permission to use that name). It is obvious that a lot of work has gone into this app over the years. There are no bugs that I could find, just a few annoyances as I've noted. Definitely worth a look for serious charting needs.
This app doesn’t line up at all. When I try to add a symbol or add words, the app doesn’t line up where i touch. It as always up to the left. I bought the app twice to see if it would correct and it doesn’t. Also, no directions to contact anyone for help.
nothing unique
Not great, not terrible. In truth, it’s relatively easy to pickup and learn. The GIVE ME MONEY red bar in the lower 4th of the screen is pretty obtrusive. Exporting to different formats requires an upgrade, which makes sense, so why add the red bar at the bottom? $10 is reasonable but not cheap enough to buy it without looking around. Missing a few key things for me like a generic folder icon, being able to adjust the connection point to not cover up bottom labels, and it’s super sensitive to choosing the wrong operation with an Apple Pencil. It’ll draw when you mean to select, and drag when you mean to draw a connection. Not deal breakers, but areas for improvement.
As an organization nerd who’s looked around for tools like this, just opening the app and spending a few minutes looking through the free version is almost making me drool! This is by far the best custom organization app I have ever seen, and I’m in shock that it barely get used!
I found this app incredibly easy to learn. The automatic formatting algorithm is an incredible bonus, and the wide variety of available shapes makes it a must-have for any application involving flexibility. That said, the automatic formatter does not attempt to optimize readability, which means that for some applications, especially advanced trees, it is far from perfect. Nevertheless, 9.8/10. It does its job well.
never use again tried to use in history way to confusing trash app i will cross u up boi its horrible
This app gives the user everything that is needed to create flow charts and diagrams. Take the time to investigate the multiple panels to customize the diagrams; some options are not obvious. For example: there is a slider to increase the width of arrows. But tapping on the slider reveals a keypad for exact entries! Request: please prepare an iOS manual to teach the user about these hidden gems. The developer usually replies to questions within 48 hours.
You can save two charts, to do more is $20. No font changes, size changes, italics, boldface - pretty limited. Otherwise, not bad.
