If the app would actually sync consistently with the hardware, this might be quite useful. But in the three days since I set up two different devices in two different types of plants, each has only synced once with the app one more time. Pretty brutal.
When it works this app is quite useful, but it has diverse bugs, including a very recurrent one preventing you from adding a new plant…
I bought it for my Mini Monstera sadly I couldn’t find it in the database.
Unable to sign up so can’t even add the device. Don’t waste your time or money.
I’ve used the app for a few months and it’s done wonders for my jade plants. Turns out I was under watering them and the soil fertilizer level was too low. I was so impressed I bought 2 more of the sensors and had no problem adding them to the app and setting up the plant types. Now to heal my sad looking 25 year old ficus.
I have 4 of these, the app crashes as soon as the data comes back. The app is unusable. Don’t buy till this is fixed!!!
I own 6 of these. I grow citrus indoors and find the information extremely valuable. However over the past two months not once have all synched in a row. Every day one or two always require the battery to be removed to synch which is very time consuming.
I own 4 of these and I appreciate to be able to monitor the level of fertilizer and moisture and track if my plant has got enough light for its need in its actual spot. However, the monitor should have a reset button that doesn’t entail to remove the battery as soon as the device is not able to connect anymore (too frequent issue). Needed upgrade: -On the growth page where the data of each day appear, should indicate clearly if the level reached during the day is good or not (need to swipe each category, and can only see for 1 day at a time, change day, swipe, etc). On the weekly and daily reports, the bars could easily have a coded color by day to say good or bad -Connection and Sync to all devices on the main page ; which color or alert to say that something is wrong on one of the plant - Reporting of when the plant was watered or fertilized (calendar view) and other maintenance task. Right now, only way is to enter a diary, which is not easily reference and seem to be published somewhere?? Finally, if the dongle would have been wifi instead of bluetooth, it would have allowed for easier access (not have to walk to the plant and be able to look at each plants from one spot instead of moving around the house) as well as potential smart home connection.
my app close each time I try to connect to flowercare. So I can't use it
