The app does what it says, mostly. The onboarding makes it seem like it has a lot more features than it actually does. It will record audio and then process that audio into a transcript and a summary. That’s all. Given that, the pricing seems pretty steep. I know that processing like this costs money, especially for small companies with small user bases, but $7/week or $200/year seems pretty high for what you’re getting. Hopefully the price will come down or they will add a lot more useful features, otherwise I’m not sure I’ll stay a user for very long. That said, the summary is good and the transcript is accurate. What it does, it does well. Wishlist: - Edit the transcript (and reflect those changes in the summary) - Edit the summary - Name speakers - Combine speakers that were actually the same person - Web or desktop versions

Use it to summarize all my calls and meetings

The Transcription was able to differentiate “boing” (the sound) from the virtually identically pronounced “Boeing” (the company), which was a intentional play on words by the speaker. That is difficult for even a human listener! The Summary was able to accurately and concisely capture the context of a lengthy conversation.

I used Flownote to get a transcript and summary from a DIY craft video I listened to on my laptop because there were instructions and resources I wanted to save and reference later in print form. So accurate and detailed! The app is ridiculously easy and intuitive to use. A great tool!
