Some good, many flaws

Annepd1 on

I have used MyFitnessPal for many years and find this app cumbersome and lacking in capabilities. 1. I need to log in every time I use the app, which I find cumbersome. 2. The database of foods s extremely limited 3. It needs to give you the ability to input a recipe I do like the fact that my weight is linked automatically and I like the weekly teaching feature.

6 weeks. No help. Found another path.

This has been one issue after another. It’s been 6 weeks. There has been no support provided and only “customer retention” after I sent a request to cancel seems to care about me. They lost sent blood work, sent the wrong diagnosis code so that I got charged for the lost blood work, they blamed me for them losing the blood work, I needed to send 3 emails asking for information and 1 email asking to cancel before I received any offer of assistance. I found another medical weight loss group covered by my insurance. Made the appt today. Have an appt tomorrow. 😄💪🏻 I understand they are inundated because of the recent promotion of the State of CT contract and I’m hoping this can be a learning lesson so what happened to me doesn’t happen to future patients looking for medical help. I hope everyone has a great and supportive experience in their quest for better health.

Easy to Use, But Should be Better

Ucfuzz on

First the negatives: does not connect to Apple Fitness/Exercises, as well as does not open the first time…keep needing to quickly close than re-open. The positives: fairly easy to use, and information is good. If they fix the two problems above would be perfect.

Editing??

Nihama9492 on

I’ve only been using this app for a few days on the advice from my doctor and I can already see flaws. I have marked things wrong and I can’t go back and change it.. like I inverted my weight and now it looks like I’ve lost more than I have. I put food in the wrong meal category and added one item too many items because I wasn’t looking close enough. It really needs to give the user the ability to make edits and if this is an available feature it needs to be much more obvious because I cannot figure it out. along with the other reviews while it can connect to apple for heart rate I really wish it would connect to the workouts I’m doing. I feel like this could be better.

Important and Insightful Part of My Medical Care

Chelsey650 on

United States

For me, obesity (yes I said it) is a generational, almost intractable medical condition. Finally, with Intellihealth and the Evolve app, I have hope. This makes it easy to track my daily weights (with the notifications to keep me honest) and to find inspiration to cook / prepare new and healthy meals. The tone is supportive but one that also seems to know my secret thoughts and miss-steps (in order to re-focus my thinking). Has been extremely helpful for me!

Connected devices support is great

Thoff2 on

United States

I like how easy the connected devices work. I step on the scale and I don’t even have to open the app to log my weight. My doctor can easily see my progress, and more importantly know when im plateauing, to provide the best treatment and guidance. I love my Flyte doctor!

Not as good as it should be

Klm5603 on

The previous reviewer is spot on. Flawed app.it doesn’t connect to Apple Watch for fitness/exercise. It’s difficult to log in your meals. They should really take a look a the Noom app. Much better by far. I’m only using this because my doctor recommended it and so far very disappointed in it.

Deficient App

namenick001 on

United States

This app has serious flaws in design. I find it is the worst compared to other weight loss apps I have tried. Interphase to log meals deficient. From my iphone, I can’t type food. App expects dictation mode only. From my imac, I can type but interphase lacks ability to modify the measurements. You are set to use Lbs instead ok Kg or grams and sometime I cant switch food logs to cups or spoons, etc.For tracking exercise, this app doesn't connect to Apple watch. Tracking weight can only bee done in lbs. in sum, I’m frustrated with this app. I’ll only use to facilitate my doctors seeing my logins.
