Description
Focus Taiwan’s free news app is the top source of English-language coverage of all things Taiwan, from breaking news to politics, business, technology, sports, culture and much more.
The updated app maintains a similar look to the Focus Taiwan website, but also has a "Media" section, which includes a playlist of the latest 30 news stories in audio and video formats.
In addition to scrolling up and down to read articles and lists of news headlines, mobile device users can also swipe right or left to browse different news categories and articles.
The updated app allows users to bookmark articles and videos in the new "My Stories" feature which can be found in the "Menu" section.
Users will be able to choose the font size and layout of the page to suit their reading habits from the "Menu" section and are welcome to leave reviews or contact Focus Taiwan with feedback.

I am an American who tries to stay aware of world events and I enjoy trying to keep up with Taiwan. I have especially enjoyed the writing and insights of your reporter James Lo. He is a real asset.
Excellent App
I started using this app because a reporter who covers Taiwan and China news for a major publication said that the best app for English information was FocusTaiwan. It has kept me abreast of all the latest COVID-19 news on the island plus, typhoon reports. Update:I still feel that Focus Taiwan is an excellent source for news. Except my app has a bug in it. I just reset everything on my iPhone but unfortunately, I still can’t read an article in peace because videos keep coming on which overtake the screen. Please fix this problem! By the way, when I reset the phone, I deleted the app and downloaded a new app hoping this problem would be fixed. Unfortunately, it still persists. No other app causes me this problem.
Video pops up every 10 seconds
Wish I could read the news but it’s impossible woth the video ad hijacks. Hope they can fix this soon.
