Would not let me use the timer unless I signed up for premium subscription. Just a waste of time to download it.
This is exactly what I was looking for in a productivity pomodoro timer. The way it is designed is elegant, attractive, and easy to use. Unfortunately the syncing between the Apple Watch and iPhone has been incredibly frustrating and I’m hoping this can be improved.
Sorry guys, this is not cool. I will adjust this review if you bother to change this behaviour. 1. There is no notice, no information, nothing about your switch to subscription. 2. No information for existing users 3. No information about pricing when starting the app, and so on. 4. No information on pricing in the app itself The app blindsides the user, giving you no option but to engage the ‘Pro’ subscription. It does not adequately explain what is happening. This amounts to automatically enrolling a user, which is blatantly against the terms and conditions of the App Store. Whether you are or not, it looks like you are hiding the pricing. Whether you are or not, it looks like you are treating users as if they are stupid. Having been a happy user of this app for a couple of years, I would have been happy to evaluate the subscription on its merits. Because I had to go out of my way to look into the pricing, which is not even obvious on the website. it now looks way overpriced. $4 a month is comparable to some premium apps. But as I say, if I had not been blind-sided by the automatic subscription I might have been inclined to look at it differently. I don’t begrudge developers like yourselves the means to support yourselves and develop your app. Just don’t treat users like idiots and you might get more support. Please think about sorting out your welcome process, make the pricing obvious and clear.
1 area for improvement, and its minor, but calendar integration whereby the first focus session automatically triggers and thus the day is set. Minus absolute perfection (and I’m picking) best focus / task management app and I have trialed them ALL. The widgets and aesthetics is a fantastic touch! Well done, team focus. Citizen Warrior Foundation thanks you helping us prepare for our upcoming Celsius Network & FTX Awareness Campaign.
One of the best apps for this project, I love it.
Absolutely love using this Pomodoro task/work timer. Helps me get through a lot of focused/chill working sessions.
This was a great and simple app, good UI and free. Then it got updated and locked everything behind a paywall FOR A TIMER. Maybe for another person it’ll be worth it, but for me I’m afraid I’m out.
