Deeply frustrating
Reminded me of using paint when o was a kid.
Used to be an excellent app
We used this app for many years and now since the update it is impossible to navigate and keeps freezing. Shame as it was pretty perfect before.
Such a shame
It used to be very good but now ruined - read recent reviews from users below and then look at published comparisons to find better apps which are free or more affordable.

I’ve been using font candy since 2013 (so since they first released) and it was amazing! Using any app for a decade must mean that they’re amazing… however this recent update is GARBAGE! Not only does the app constantly crash, but it’ll no longer accept my “restore purchase” and wants me to pay £3’99 a WEEK! The app looks NOTHING like it used to do it’s not even easy to use and is just a strain on the eyes, and they’ve even ruined the quality of many features that made it unique. Old font candy was amazing but the new one? I wouldn’t waste your time
Keeps throwing me out on latest iOS on iphone11?
Come on font candy!! I’ve paid for this app!! Every time I use it now I have to uninstall and reinstall!! This isn’t on!! And this is the second time I’ve brought this up!!! *Update* they’ve completely changed the way you edit pics now …. Didn’t think u could make this app any worse !!! If the original version didn’t keep needing to be reinstalled it would have been 5stars …. To add! Nearly a year later and still won’t even open ?? MY ADVICE TO ANYBODY IS DO NOT BUY THIS APP!! NOTHING GETS FIXED…. I’ve not even had a reply!!
The new price is an insult.
I have been using this app for about a year. It’s ok. There is better out there for free even. But they just took their price from £1.79 to £3.99…. What a joke. What a huge hike… at a time when people are struggling so much. It’s an insult to loyal customers. Like major corporations do…you get punished instead of rewarded for loyalty.

How to ruin an app
If you try to use the free feature now (as I have for years) the results are all blurry. They are trying to make money - who can blame them? But with this clunky design and back-handed way of treating customers, I won't be paying. Onwards and upwards- 'bye 'bye Font Candy 👋
Not worth any money
The app is not that good. Constantly crashing, tried to upload my artwork and it closes the entire app. Scrolled down a bit and I saw a review with the exact same dilemma and I’m sure there’s more… they need to fix this specific problem it’s jarring and ruins the app completely. Overall it’s okay but I suggest you don’t pay for it because it’s not worth the money if it constantly crashes. My advice is to look elsewhere.
