Description

Finding the right food can be difficult when you’re on a specific diet, such as vegetarian, vegan, organic, and etc. With difficult to read food labels, it makes it harder and more time consuming to determine whether you can eat something. So, we started Foodi, an app that allows users to see what foods they’re able to eat based on their chosen diet through scanning the barcode on their food. The app categorizes and simplifies information on food labels and provides alternative healthier options from our database of foods. We’ve also created the Foodi Communiti, a discussion forum where people that have similar diets can share what they’re eating and suggestions for others.
