Foodnoms Macro Protein Tracker Reviews

Great

Clean UI, hits all the functions on my list: - Estimate serving size with +/-15 or 30% leeway - Quick add custom amount of calories (when you’re dining out and roughly estimate “this pasta looks like 800 calories”) - Nutrition label scanning! That one doesn’t work perfectly, but good enough - Nice graphs - Food automatically assigned into meals according to a daytime: “late night”, “early morning”. Giant kudos to developers! Sleek and easy to use. P.S.: Would you consider adding Mac Catalyst version?

Very well designed calorie tracker

This amazing app helped me to cut 14kg of body fat in six months while maintaining precious muscle mass!

Very useful

Even most of products are based in USA, you can add your own and feed them to their database so other people can use them. It is a bit of initial effort but useful later on if you usually buy the same products. The user interface is quite nice and it is easy to track what you need.

Not in the US? Use something else

Very well designed app but practically useless in Europe as the database almost never recognised foods from here. The nutrition label scanning is a cool idea but doesn’t work well in europe as nutritional information layout is not standardised.

The best one

This is the best one. All the others are too hard to use. This one could be a little easier to use, but it’s pretty intuitive.

Doesn’t track food correctly

I pay yearly for the app and as of recently, it just doesn’t track anything correctly food wise when I search for it, which is why I paid for it. I spend more time entering info.

Best of the best

The app of my dreams. Been searching for something like this ever since MyFitnessPal decided to flood the app with ads and lock the most basic features behind a paywall. Incredible ui. Incredible integration. Great job

Factoring in my active calories burned each day is a paid premium feature? Haha cool. Buh bye.

Very Useful

Triprocket on

I’ve been using this app since resuming strength training and it’s really helpful in tracking my overall macros and helping me keep on target for my needs. I was never really good at keeping a paper food-journal and other apps are very heavy-handed, non-intuitive, or otherwise just too “corporate”. This one works well and I’m happy to support and indie dev. I’m in software development and it’s exactly the kind of app I would have wrote.

Only good app

Went through at least five of these kinds of apps before finding this one. Simple and intuitive
